EM and IP Services Redundancy

Hi,

Because CUCM 6 has now got the new feature of local node registration, (ie. if Pub goes down, the EM service on the Sub should take over), I would like to point all HTTP requests from the IP phones to a virtual IOS SLB address and hopefully the SLB function will redirect the request to a working CUCM server in the cluster.

Has anyone done this before? If so, are the any config samples doing the rounds?

URLs configured in CCMAdmin will be the virtual IP address which will be converted to the actual server addresses by SLB.

The advantage of this over DNS is that SLB will poll the service when you lose the server/service.
