EM in CME 8.6

Hi,

I have configured EM in CME 8.6..Attached configuration for your reference. I am using 7942 phones.

I press service button & select EM, it asks to put username & password. I put the credential: username: partha, password: cisco. The phone goes to reset state & doesn't come up properly until i do a manual reset. Once i press Logout, the phone gets stuck. Once i manually reset the phone, the phone doesn't give me the DN number at all that i configured in the logout profile. Attached the EM config.

CME version: 8.6

IOS: 15.1

Phone type: 7942

Can you try phone FW 9.1.1SR1 ?

I tried the FW suggested by you..but the issue remains same…any suggestion plz !!

Have you configured your ephone-dns for the actual DNs on the logout/user profiles?  (003 and 004)

number xxx (put whatever you were going to have as your user profile dn here)

Hi,

Thanks for your reply…I configured as you suggested, but the issue remains same. If I press Logout, the phone hangs..i need to press the exit button then only it works….same thing happens while logging in into EM…any suggestion!!

I am having the same issue with CME 8.6 , IOS ver 15.1(4)M4 , and Phone firmware ver 9.1.1 . When I login or logout of EM it hangs until you press exit a coule times. The profile loads fine and it works after hitting exit a couple times and the same when you logout, it hangs until you press exit a couple times. Has anyone come up with the fix on this yet? thanks.
