Enable RTP transcoding

Hello,

I have a Cisco Router 2900 (IOS 15.2 and CUBE 8.8) and I would enable local transcoding for RTP stream.

I try to configure the router as explain in this link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-border-element/100480-cube-transcode.html#full_config. But when I try to configure the dspfarm profile, the"maximum session" field can only be set to 0. Furthermore no field "codec" can be set.

Can anynone help me ?

Do you have enought DSPs availble to configure an xcoder??

Usually the fact you get 0 when trying to configure the maximum-sessions means you don't

In addition to Jaime's response, you may need to enable dspfarm services.

I have already enable the dspfarm services. So I think it's a problem with DSPs. But how is it possible to know if I have enough DSP available ?

When I try to configure the dspfarm profile I have this:

#dspfarm profile 1 transcode

Dspfarm profile 1 :: No resource, check voice card or dspfarm service is not configured.

Are you sure you have a PVDM in the router?
