enabling ssh and mgcp gateway

i have cucm and a mgcp gateway on a 28xx router. i tried to enable ssh on it with the following steps:

-the gw hostname already matches the domain on the cucm gw config

-added customer domain which is different than the hostname

-generated key 2048

-set ssh ver 2

afterward all calls stopped coming out and coming in . I have already read somewhere that if the domain on the gw is different than the domain on the cucm it will cause the gw to de-register but im confused as in the document it says

only gw name have to match? what am i missing here?

You need to use the new domain name in CUCM gateway page.

and on router give "no mgcp" and "mgcp"
