Encryption and headsets ?

When using encryption with VoIP Cisco phones, does the encryption extend to a headset that may be used?  I believe the conversation from the phone to the headset it not encrypted, but wondering if particular types of headsets would encrypt with the call.  Thought I'd check

Thanks

Once the SRTP reaches the phone, it's decrypted and then played over your headset/handset/speaker, I know the Cisco headsets do have encryption for the BT communication as explained in the data sheet

Full security

AES-128 encryption ensures secured communication.

If you use other brands, you'd need to ask the manufacturer about those capabilities.

Hello Peter,

Jaimes response couldn’t be more clear (once more). Cisco 500 and 700 series headset‘ data sheets clearly state that encryption exists.
