Enterprise License Manager - Failure to add Product Instance

Hi,

I'm testing ELM co-res on CUCM.

I've just installed CUCM, started all services and changed name by IP@ in System>Server

I can access the ELM using the application username defined in the CUCM installation, but when I use the same one to add the product instance (that is, the CUCM) I get the following error: Test connection failed. Login failed while attempting to connect to the Product Instance. Verify that the porvided username and password are correct.

I don't understand what can be wrong with the username/pwd as it is the same I'm using to access CUCM and ELM and I can access both with no problem. Does this user has to have any additional role? I've been reading through the ELM user guide and I can find nothing else I should do before adding an instance.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Carmen

hello,

you need to use the "OS Admin" username/password

is the same username/pwd that you use to SSH to the server

Note

Credentials are the OS Administration username and password of the product.

Thanks Rob, but I already looked at these and none of them match my problem... :-(
