Hi,

I am having an issue when some users try to change their PIN, they get the following error: Error: [2755] ADMIN_ERROR_NO_UDT_IN_USER_PROFILE

The CUCM version: 14.0.1.13900-155

Any ideas?

Regards,

Uros Kovacevic.

A UDT is a "Universal Device Template", which would generally be assigned to a user via a User Profile. However, why that would be invoked when a user attempts to change their PIN would depend on what method they are using to do so.

Are your users attempting to change their PIN via the phone itself? The Self-Care Portal? A 3rd-Party management tool? Also, are you speaking of a CUCM PIN, a CUC PIN or do you have the two systems AXL-integrated?

@Maren Mahoney we have the same issue for EM profile pin reset from UCM.

DB Run time status seems good, Tried recreating the user profile. but the issue remains the same... Any suggestions here  ???

UCM version 14.X

Okay.... So do I understand correctly that you are using the UCM GUI to change the PIN? Is that the Admin GUI or the Self-Care Portal?

Keep in mind that the EM Profile PIN is just the PIN on the End-User account. There's nothing special about it.

Are you getting a specific error message? What is it?

Its  Admin GUI

When we try to reset pin from end-user page we are getting this error

Error: [2755] ADMIN_ERROR_NO_UDT_IN_USER_PROFILE

So that error would imply that the user has a User Profile assigned - probably the Default one - and that it does not have a Universal Device Template in it. That's a bare reading of the error but tracks. But most organizations don't use UDTs or User Profiles and don't receive this error.

Do you, by chance, have either UDTs (User Management > User/Phone Add > Universal Device Template) or a User Profile other than the default one built into the system at installation? (User Management > User Settings > User Profile)

I'm going to have to give some thought to what trace or log file to look at, maybe the DBL service? Hopefully someone else can pipe in with which file to look at.
