We have extension mobility enabled on Cisco phones. From RTMT or CUCM page or any method etc, is there any way we can find the history log showing the extension mobility users which phyiscal phone they have logged in previously ?

Hi,

I don't think there is any such configurable parameter (or a 3rd party app) on CUCM. On Unified Reporting though, you can get a summary.

Unified CM Extension Mobility : Provides a summary of Cisco Extension Mobility usage; for example, the number of phones that have a Cisco Extension Mobility user logged in to them, the users that are associated with Cisco Extension Mobility, and so on.

You may however, want to check the audit logs and search with user ID if that helps.

You would need to parse that information from the EM traces to get this from all users.

I have the same issue and don't know if you already know how to get those logs yet. so this is how to get it using RTMT!

(from Jaime mention above, it needs to get the logs from all users in the period of time that the user will login)

assume that I need to know what user logged in to this IP Phone (known MAC).

  1. Log in RTMT
  2. System > Trace & Log Central > Collect Files > Cisco Extension Mobility
  3. Find the MAC by using Notepad++
  4. logs will be like...
<login>

<deviceName> SEP"MAC"

<userID> XXXXX

<deviceProfile> XXXXX
