We have EM logout set at nine hours as a cluster wide parameter. However what I found extremely strange was a recent complaint that a user's call was terminated mid-conversation as their phone logged them out.
Surely this should be a soft reset, not a forced log-off during a call? I cannot find a parameter to check beyond the Cluster wide settings.
Don't suppose anyone can enlighten me.

What version of CUCM are you using? I've always seen this work as a restart rather than hard reset so no calls should be dropped.

Hi Brian,
CUCM 8.6.2a (1 Pub, 2 Subs, 2 TFTP) a restart is how I would imagine it would work but we have two active complaints that state a hard reset with calls dropped.
