Folks,
I am trying to conference an external party (PSTN) which leads to the call drop.
Phone A, B C = IP Phones
Mobile = Thru PSTN
Scenario,
Phone A calls Phone B, then Phone A presses conf button to dial Phone C - Successful.
Phone A calls Phone B thn Phone A presses conf button to dial Mobile - Successful.
Phone A calls Mobile A then Phone A presss conf button to dial Mobile B - Gives fast busy..
So IP Phone is unable to make conference with 2 PSTN Numbers..
Its the v9.1.2 CUCM.

Hi Mohsin,
In the last scenario, Phone A calls Mobile A then Phone A presss conf button to dial Mobile B - Gives fast busy.., please check the codec by pressing the '?' on the IP phone A and see if it is something other than g711. If its a g729 or some other low bit rate codec then you should have a hardware conference bridge or a software conf bridge and transcoder in the MRGL applied to the IP phones and gateway / trunk through which call is going out to cover conference scenarios with pstn phones using g729 codec. OR you can make sure that all the region settings are talking g711 including the codec specified on the dial-peer if any.

What type of gateway are you using? What type of CFB is assigned to the IP Phone. Bear in mind that CUCM software CFB only supports G711 codec..
