Hello,

we have some users who experience issues with dial rules.
when calling landline they have to append an extra zero at the front, whereas some users
can do away without an extra zero at the front.

Why does that happen to different set of users? please help.

Most likely these users are having different CSSes and you have two
patterns (one with leading zero and one without) each is accessible from
one CSS.

Use DNA and trace the call flow for one user of each type to see what
pattern you are matching.

Hello,

You will need to identify on which Device Pool and which CSS (Calling Search Space) the users belong to.

You may use the Dial-Number-Analyzer for better understanding: https://<cucm ip address>/dna

Hope this helps,

George
