Hi everyone,
My system have CUC 10.5 & CUCM 10.5. I have an issue with setup Auto Attendant. I followed all tutorial on internet but its not working. When I dial to Voice Mail extension from outside, it greet with opening greeting standard but when I press 0 for operation, it greet "sorry the number do not answer" and with other extension, it greet "Sorry, [username] its not available"
Could you please help me for that situation!

You need to make sure that the integration between cucm and Unity connection is setup correctly and the users on cucm have the correct VM profile with coresponding VM box configured on Unity connection.

Hi Manish,
I followed your link above, I think CUCM and CUC have connectivity correctly because when I call from outside to DID, its reached to VoiceMail Extension and greet the standard greeting. I don't think the problem is VM profile on user, because I just want to user auto attendant feature, not voice mail for user

The problem is I don't assign CSS to Voice Mail Port on CUCM, this issue was resolved.

So basically what you are saying is that if you call the AA number internally i.e., from an IP Phone registered to CM then it works fine. However, if you call from outside (must be dialing the complete DID) then it goes to the Opening Greeting and does not go to AA
Is that correct what I understood or there is more to it. Can you provide the Call Flow in detail for the scenario you are working with long with more details to the issue you are facing there

Hi Deepak,
My call flow is outside dial DID > CUCM > VM (AA) > press 0 reach operator or press extension of user. With my understand, I just want to setup a simple AA so I think extension of VM & AA are the same and when I dial to VM (AA) extension, it reach to mailbox greeting, not opening greeting. My issue is why CUCM can forward dial from outside to CUC but CUC can not forward revert when press extension key.

What happen if you dial the AA number internally and then press 0 or extension of user, does it work then. If yes, then you probably need to look at the DTMF option set up at the Dial-Peer level through which the call is coming in.

That means you have not set it up properly. Review your configuration again else post all the screenshots of your configuration for further review.
