Fax on SIP-TRUNK

Hello,

I am facing issues with FAX connecting to ATA 186 they are not able to send fax nor they are able to receive, but if i am connecting anolog phone the call is perfect for in and out ,

Can anybody help me to know what are the standards commnds to put when the VG is in a SIP Trunk.

ATA186 do not support protocol based T38 which is what most likely your provider is using. Your options are:

1. Get device that supports T.38, i.e. ATA187

2. Check wit provider to see if they can use fax passthrough and reconfigure your GW to use it.
