Forced Authorization Code For Cisco SIP Phone 3905

Hi Team,

Can i configure  Cisco SIP Phone 3905 to use Forced Authorization Code ? I am using Call Manager 9.X.

Yes you configure a css and pt to make use of fac and use that on the route patter tick the use fac box

Hi Team,

But can we configure Fac for SIP phone?  i read some cisco document in which mentioned that SIP cannot support for FAC only SCCP can support.

Hi Praful,

Yes you right for CME but for CUCM some sip phones supports FAC , as far as 3905 is concerned it supports FAC .
