Forced Authorization Codes with CDR logging on a Call Manager Express Router

Good Day All,

I have a few questions regarding a Call Manager Express Design request.

A business has asked that some telephones registered to Call Manager Express require users to use a unique (per user) pin code to dial externally and allow internal calls with no pin access.

They also would like to be able to keep track of which users are dialing external numbers and what number they call.

The requirements are below.

  1. All CME VOIP phones enabled to make internal network calls
    1. Internal calls on 444X - no Forced Authorization Code – just dial
    2. Internal calls on CUCM system via SIP trunk - no Forced Authorization Code. Range 5XXX
    3. External calls to the PSTN via the SIP trunk to CUCM and out the Voice Gateway located near headquarters site. All external calls require FAC.
  2. All VOIP phones require an access PIN code to make external phone calls
  3. Issue a unique PIN to each personnel authorised to make external phone calls.
  4. Provide the ability to track which individuals are making external phone calls from the VOIP phones connected to Call Manager Express router.

Provided we use CME with FAC enabled (needs CME 8.5) and Call Detail Record Accounting, I think this is possible.

Was hoping to either speak to someone who has done this before or get the contact point for design questions for Cisco.

Please see an example diagram of the layout.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Regards

Amanda
