Forward HG Pilot to Voicemail (noone is registered to HG)

Hello.

Im trying to send call that is destined to Hunt Pilot to voicemail. It is working when users are logged into this HG (Forward Hunt no Asnwer). It is working when users that are in that HG are busy (Forward Hunt Busy).

I have configured voicemail hunt pilot in those section.

But when noone is logged into this HG (Users are logged off from their phones) call doesnt hit voicemail.

Of course I have voicemail created (extension in voicemail is the same as HG pilot).

How can I make it work ?

Thanks for any advices.

/Mat

Hi,

Check the "Hunt Options" under your line group setting.

What is set for "Not Available"

May be try setting to "Try next member; then, try next group in Hunt List"

Hi Alex.

I had it already set for "Not Available" under LG setting - and it doesnt work.

I tried all other options but still no luck.

Really no way to transfer HuntPilot to voicemail when noone is logged in into HG ?

Are these phones/users using jabber along with the phones?

I have seen this issue when jabber is logged in and the phone has been logged out of the hunt group, the call still rings in.

User is required to close jabber before the call will forward to voice mail.

Hope this helps.

Hi Charles.

No - they only use hardphones with Extension Mobility.

The point is when users are logged out from EM then call doesnt hit voicemail and I have no idea why.

Have they tried logging out from the hunt group before logging out from EM?

Logging out from the hunt group using the Hlog soft key?

Users dont have option to log out from HG.

If they are logged into phone vie EM then they are part of HG.

In our environment, we are not using EM, however we have created a softkey template with a Hlog softke to give the users the ability to log out of the hunt group.

Later today, I'll test with EM and see if I can duplicate the trouble.

Thanks for your help Charles

I found out from TAC that this is working as designed - quite strange :P

A workaround is to have dummy phone configured with dummy DN and this dummy DN attach to LineGroup.

I always thought that ExtensionMobility is just a virtual representantion on physical phone.

Regards!

Thanks for the update.
