I have a request to forward a line after no one has picked up to a different extension but if that person doesn't pick up have the original forwarding extension pickup.
In Short;
extension 1111 forward to 2222 if no answer
if there is no answer on extension after being forwarded to 2222 forward back to voicemail back to extension 1111
Both extensions currently have voicemail configured and we are running CUCM 10.5 and CUC 10.5
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Unity Connection should work this way by default. If you set the FNA on 1111 to roll to 2222 on no answer and then set the FNA on 2222 to roll to your voicemail pilot on no answer the call will eventually end up receiving the greeting for 1111 on end up in the 1111 mailbox. The only way this won't work is if you've changed the Advanced setting in Unity Connection from "use original dialed number" to "use last redirecting number."
Cheers!

Unless you have changed the default CUC configuration, that's the behavior you'll see. The original called number is used to choose the mailbox, not the last redirecting (unless you change the default config to have the latter)
Have you tried this??

Hi Nick,
You are most welcome my friend! Glad you got it sorted.
Cheers!
