FXO Busy Notification for Users

Hi,

My client has migrated from the legacy key system to Cisco CUCME. He is used to seeing the red lights on the phone indicating the busy FXO lines. Hes asking for similar notification in Cisco CME. Is there any way to achieve this? I was thinking of something like presence for the FXO ports...

Hi Saifuddin,
You have to bind a analog line directly to the DN respectively button on the phone. Below an example:

voice-port 0/0/0
trunk-group FXO_ALL
connection plar opx 5001
caller-id enable

dial-peer voice 1000 pots
destination-pattern 1000
port 0/0/0

ephone-dn 1 dual-line
number 5001
label Line1
trunk 1000 monitor-port 0/0/0
