We have been investigating the FXO Bypasspair capability of VG350's where in case of a power outage the FXO bypass pairs switches their respective relays to ports 46 and 47 and provide dial-tone from the PSTN. However, is there a way to force this respective relay switch during a normal operation ? We have been using dees units (link below) that has the capability to bypass during a power outage as well as a manual by-pass switch that comes handy during network issues where you can manually put these units in by-pass mode and re-route through copper trunk lines. With VG350's its good that during a power failure this operation is automatic but is there a command that we can run to force the by-pass mode so the specific phones plugged into ports 46 and ports 47 can call out through PSTN Trunk lines and still be functional in case of network issues without having to unplug the power for the whole device?
