Hi guys,
I got 16 analogue lines from Service provider and I need to connect them to my FXO ports, my question is how to terminate them with RJ11? one pair per each line and how can I know if my termination is good from inside the Gateway?
Thanks,
Saeed

Hello mohammad,
RJ11 will use pins 3 & 4.
Link below shows the pin out for RJ11

To verify your RJ11 wiring, plug the RJ11 into an analog phone and go off hook. Hear dial tone, you know you are good. Plug the RJ11 into the fxo port.
See document below for troubleshooting Analog voice interfaces.
Hope this helps.
