FXO Disconnect Tone

Hi,

I have common problem FXO disconnect tone , I'm trying to make custom CPTONE in Jordan after search I found this

information from http://www.3amsystems.com/World_Tone_Database?q=Jordan,Disconnect_tone .

the result give me is ( Frequency/Hz = 420X40 ) and ( Cadence/s = 0.25 on 0.25 off ) 

I config this custom-cpton but no luck , I don't understand what mean 420X40 ? many countries one frequency 420 or 425 but

can anybody explain what mean 420X40 and how I config it

I analyzed it and it's a signal with a frequency around 425 Hz and the cadence is ~ 250 ms ON and 250 ms OFF.

so the config should be similar to this:

dualtone disconnect
frequency 425
cadence 250 250

many thanks for your reply.

I test it at this configuration with fail result , the main problem when the call come from outside to AA at CUC , and when other party hang up the phone complete message and go to VM and waiting until VM message maximum time finish.

this information I get it from PSTN company.

-Holding tone -   420x40   0.5 on 8.0 off (1400 +/- 50 Hz x40 , 400 ms on 1500 ms off) 

-Howler tone -   950   continuous ( 3000 +/- 5 Hz, continuous )

-Intrusion tone -    (1400 +/- 50 Hz x40 ,  2 s on 15 s off  400 ms on)

-Number unobtainable tone -   ( 420 +/- 5 Hz x40 ,  announcement )

-Ringing tone -    ( 420 +/- 5 Hz x40 , 1200 ms on 4800 ms off )

-Special information tone ( f1=950 +/- 50 Hz, f2 = 1400 +/- 50 Hz, f3 = 1800 +/- 50 Hz.) x40 ,  (1000 ms on 1000 ms off)

-Call waiting tone -    (1400 +/- 50Hz x40, 175 ms on 175 ms off 175 ms on 3500 ms +/-1500ms off)

That's strange!

Can you post your show-run to double check that the dualtone disconnect configuration is correctly applied to voice ports ?

Also, try the busy tone variant that your telco gave you (change the cadence from 250-250 to 500-500 )

Hi,

below the configuration for FXO port , I use the cptone BR because when I choice JO Caller ID will not work also the 2 command :-

not acceptable at cptone JO , by the way I have other brach have CME it's work perfectly the cptone JO and caller ID also disconnect tone work .
