FXO PSTN Disconnection

Hi,

We are currenlty having a problem with 2821 with a 4fxo not tell the PSTN ( Telstra ) that the call has end.

     IP Phone <--- 2821 <---PSTN<---- Phone B

If the IP Phone hungup first, on a PSTN originated call, the PSTN network will not see the hangup. If you listen to the phone line the call is still           active and connected to phone b.

     IP Phone ---> 2821 ---> PSTN----> Phone B

But if it is a IP Phone originated call the hungup works ok.

The 2821 is config with mgcp.

I have looked at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk653/technologies_tech_note09186a00800ae2d1.shtml

But we are still having problems.

eg config

voice-port 0/2/2

trunk-group VOICE-T

echo-cancel coverage 64

cptone AU

timing hookflash-out 50

impedance complex1

You need to configure the exact tome params as a custom. cptone alone won't work.

I have try some off -

Is there a resource to ffind the correct one?

Yes resources and methods are discussed in the many many threads on the subject, if you could take the time to search.

I have been searching and reading threads for the last 8 days. I was thinking that I would finely start a thread to get some specifics help. Thankyou for the help

So if you have searched, you should have found:

1. recoding tones and frequency analysys detailed discussions.

2. world tone database

But you didn't ?
