Does anyone using FXS to connect modem for dial-up purpose? Is it ok?

Hi,
supporting modem in VoIP is possible, but will require a lot of attention in configuration and is subject to limitations. Basically, there are two options, modem pass-through and modem relay.
What is the complete picture? Do you use CCM? What is the other end of the call ?

we're using CCM 4.1(3)sr3a with FXS of voice gateway C2851 12.4(3b). the modem is mainly for dial-out only with 56kpbs. the far-end is also a modem.

We're also using CCM with a C2821 voice gateway. I have modem calls originating on a PRI and I'd like them to terminate on an FXS port.
