There are numerous posts on this setup with fairly inconsistent information. Everything I read says FXS can't send dialed digit outbound and that FXS/DID functionality is inbound to the port only.
FXS can't pass dialed digits (from Cisco):

I found this posting with someone running an FXS card that is successfully passing digits to a fax server:

I have a FaxFinder server with 2 FXO ports that is providing fax functional for ~20 users. I need to connect 2 FXS ports to this fax device and pass the dialed digits so the fax server can match the number with a fax email address.
Can anyone provide direction on whether this will work?
Thanks,
Joe
