FXS ports on voice gateway config needed

I have a cisco 2921 with 4fxs ports that I need to configure to attach  pdq's and fax devices.

Are these the options I have:

Configure ports as either mgcp or sccp. Either way I will have to add a new gateway with the 4 ports on cucm. The 2921 is currently a H323 gateway.

Will the MGCP config look something like this:

I will have ATA 187s and VG224's with fax machines attached with modem pass through enabled so will I need this on the Integrated Gateway as well as the vg224 (sccp controlled):

Another question regarding the VG224's, if the ports are sccp controlled do I need dialpeers pointing to pstn gateway with destination 9T or pointing to the cucm cluster as the ports will use cucm for routing calls won't they?

The sccp devices will be under cucm conroll.hence they will use the dial plan in CUCM for outbound calls. If your gateway is mgcp then you dont need any dial-peer, if its h323 you still need dial-peers for routing to the PSTN

Voice gateway is h323 and has VoIP and pots dial peers. From what you say I will not need dial peers on the vg224 as it is cucm controlled.
Any input on the the config needed for modem pass through on both the voice gateway and the vg224.
This might be a daft question but can a fax that is mgcp controlled port originating fax talk to a sccp controlled port terminating fax on the same ip network?

Yes you dont need dial-peer son the VG224

Modem pass through can be configured on either a global levell

voice service voip
modem pass-through nse codec g711ulaw

Or on each dial-peer

dial-peer voice xx voip
destination-pattern xxxxxxx

Yes they can talk to each other..
