Hi,
We had a powercut recently which seemed to cause our router to loose it's subinterface command. Prior to the reboot, this was what was on the system. After the powercut, when I tried to enter the command from a backup config file as Serial0/0/0:1.100 it came up with "% Invalid input detected at '^' marker" and the pointer was starting at teh serial part of the command. It made sense why it wouldn't accept that command because when I did a show ip interface brief, Serial0/0/0:1 didn't exist, only Serial 0/0/0:0.
What I don't seem to understand is how this was accept configuration before, unfortunately I don't have any show ip interface command output from prior to the outage. There doesn't seem to be anything on the logs that show anything useful either.
Outage around 15:00 hrs on 27th
Googled this and there does seem to be some reference to a bug (CSCtg38344) but this only seems to be tied a slightly different scenario and platform.

Have you saved a copy of the original configuration?
Check under controllet T1, the channel-group ID used.
Note, it would be a good idea to update both rommon and IOS on this router.

Hi Paolo,
Customer didn't have any backup configuration snapshot, but managed to find out from the customer that there was a change in refernce to the channel goups.
Thanks for the reply.
