Looking to see if there is a clever way of getting an IP Phone's MAC address (or preferably device name) from the connected inline PC. We want to log in EM users to phones when they log into Jabber. Getting the connected device name seems to be the hardest part of this. Want to avoid (if we can) manually entering this off 5000 desks we have with phones out there,
Have seen PktMon for Windows 10 to pickup CDP or LLDP packets. Wondering if there is a smarter way I'm missing.
Phones are almost all 7821s and we are running CUCM 12.5(SU4), soon going to 14.
