Getting double calls in a wrong protocol -> Calls are dropped out

Dear Team,

We have set up a call forwarding scenario where calls directed to a CUCM CTI route point are forwarded to an external PSTN number. This is a straightforward call forwarding setup from an internal extension to a PSTN number,

Call flow:
PSTN (SIP) >> CUBE >> SIP >> CUCM >> Call forwarding via CTI port >> PSTN number (other organization) >> IVR

Our current challenge is that the other organization is receiving the call twice with the codec u-law. They have requested us to configure the call to use PCMA (G.711 a-law) instead.

Could you please advise how we can configure CUCM to support forwarding in this setup using PCMA (G.711 a-law)?

Thank you for your assistance.

The codec can be hardcoded on the dial-peer that the call uses to exit to the PSTN.

Please share the configurations and provide more details on how the call exits.
