I know the Status is normally Unknown, but the IP address is also Unknown.
On the GW, I have SCCP conference bridge using the same IP as the h323 bind statement, yet the conference bridge is connected.
Isnt it the h323 bound interface that is supposed to show up in Cm gateways?

No, it doesn't. The gateway will always show an unknown status. The name of the H323 gateway in CCM should be the IP address you have bound H323 services to.

yes, i know the status will always be unknown. problem is that the IP address is also unknown. resetting does no good.
yet sccp resources on the gw, bound to the same ip address register fine

H323 gateways will always show up as unknown. These are peer to peer links, so they are only active when in use. For them to show up as unknown is both normal and expected behavior. The real key is whether or not it works. BTW, you DO have to do a reset on the config after putting it into service to get it to work.

If I remember right, I had a database replication issue.

Hi
I think not. Before this failure occurred, I performed a Backup successful.
Please, see the status DB:
