Dear Islam

I have CME , I have some questions :

- where i will configure the greeting like in CME or CUE  :

"  welcome to the XX company if you the extension press it now or , 1 for  sales department , 2 for Maintence department " and this should be in  arabic and english

- Do have any link and video training link to show me how to   configure greeting in CME ?

- i can configure this greeting in CME or i need to configure CUE on it to configure this greeting ?

- Do i need a script editor to configure CUE or CME like IPCC ? or just access through GUI ?

your answers are very important for me

thanks

hello

You have two options

1-You can configure an AA on Cisco unity express .

2-If you do not have CUE , on CME you can configure B-ACD which will help you also for you.

3-For question about script it will be like IPCC do not worry about it  . For CUE you can use web page to edit the welcome message and add actions for 0  go to operator and so on . there is script you can edit by eazy way as the examples which you will find below.

.

Thank you

Hello

Kindly find also below other way to configure the AA on CUE using CLI commands , it will be helpful also.

Step 1:

CUE:

!

groupname Administrators member user1

!

ccn trigger sip phonenumber 3600                              (( 3600 AA which will be your responsible for AA))

application " autoattendant"

enabled

maxsessions 3

end trigger

exit

!

ccn application autoattendant

parameter "operExtn" "3001"                                        (( 3001 your operator))

end application

!

////on your router///

!

dial-peer voice AA voip

destination-pattern 3600

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:x.x.x.x                   (IP of your CUE)

dtmf-relay sip-notify

codec g711ulaw

Step 2:

To record a new prompt and replace the default welcome greeting, perform the

following:   You have two ways (( 1- record message using windows recorder then upload to flash 2- record using Cisco IP phone))

for Cisco IP phone on Cisco unity express you have to define phone 1 as admin

Step 3:

From IP Phone 1, dial number 3555 and login with your credentials. Select “2” to

manage custom prompts and record a new prompt.

Step 4:

Display the prompts in the system and notice the new recorded prompt:

CUE# show ccn prompts

CUE# ccn rename prompt AAWelcome.wav AAWelcome_orig.wav  language en_US

Step 5:

Finally, rename the new recorded prompt to “AAWelcome.wav” using the

following command:

CUE# ccn rename prompt UserPrompt_01102009011309.wav AAWelcome.wav

lanuage en_US
