I have a question to pose to the netpros...
I am soon upgrading from CM 4.1 to UCS C200M2 CUCM 8.6. I am wondering...... instead of pulling the PUB from the cluster to upgrade to 7.X using DMA then preforming a bridge upgrade to 8.X. would it be possible to pull a drive from the existing PUB (7825H2) and install it in a spare 7825H1 chassis? My thinking is that I possibly could avoid being without a PUB while the upgrade is in progress and take my time while upgrading the H1 with the PUB drive. I mean ultimately the upgrade from 7.X to 8.X will be a bridge upgrade to the UCS box.
Will the drive work in the H1?
I think I can get around the licensing issues by simply having TAC rehost.
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Clarification...that is a 7825H2 the drive would be pulled from and a 7825H1 I want to use the drive in.

Performing upgrades, reinstalls, movements not supported by drive swaps.
DMA for upgrade. DRS for Server movements, reinstalls upgrades.
