help cisco unified presence server.

Goog Morning, I've a little question about the cisco unified presence server.

The  unifiesd presence server software is a part of cisco unified callmanager or it's another package that will be installed in a new server?

Hi Giancarlo.

I guess you are talking about version 9.x of CUCM.

The presence server sould still be installed as separated server.

Hi,

CUCM can provide basic presence features only. (Status of an extension). For other presence features and chat options, you need a dedicated Presence server.
