Still new here to cisco so please excuse my ignorance.
I have a cisco UC520 running CME 7.0, I dont currently have a computer with a serial connection to console to use CLI to customize the phones so i have downloaded Background deployment 3.
It seems im unable to connect to the call manger. i use the call manager address of 10.1.1.1 and it seems to never connect. however if i point my browser to that address. i can log in and get the home page?
everything i find suggests i have to authenticate the program but it seems to be related to CUCM.
i use CCA and connect and make changes just fine. but i have noticed the Phone customization sections have an error "The embedded TFTP server cannot start or is not reachable"

If you mean the tool from voip integration, it's not meant to be used with CME, the requirements specify CUCM 5.0 or later.
CME is NOT the same as CUCM.
