Home Cluster audit logs

We have multiple clusters we will call c1 c2 and cc with a SME proxy for call control and routing. In our environment we sync LDAP to AD across each cluster. We have found that some users 'Home Cluster' Check box is being set and is giving us issues. 

My question is, How do i find the culprit? I know i can pull the audit logs and go through them but like i said we have 3 clusters. Is there a good doc to help me out or has anyone experienced this?

Have you checked LDAP for any feature group?  System - LDAP - LDAP Directory.  I'm not sure how many you  have (probably 1) but check it (or each if more than 1).  Under "Group Information" will be a field called Feature Group Template.  If there is an entry there, go to User Management - User/Phone Add - Feature Group Template.  Find the template listed in the LDAP directory and see if the Home Cluster check box is selected.  If so, you found your root cause.
