We are planning to deploy Device Mobility. In case a user is connected from Home/hotel while travelling using company VPN, how Device Mobility info (DMI) will be updated and  user will be linked with correct Device CSS so that he/she can utilize local gateway instead of using home gateway.

You will need to define VPN subnet as device mobility info and allocate desired CSS/etc to it,this will be static for the VPN DMI so you will most likely need to pick the head end location. Not sure what local GW you are referring to for home/hotel users.
