We get excessive DHCP traffic every day due to bug CSCtr56885. Rebooting the phones as a band-aid has gotten old. The bug has been around for quite some time. How are others dealing with this? Considering we have a couple hundred 7937 phones, they really are chewing up our DHCP servers with unnecessary traffic. It would be nice to see a fix for this.

The latest 7937 firmware 1.4(5) claims to fix this. Note that this firmware is NOT included in any device packs, so you have to manually apply it to your system.
