How can I know if a Fax/phone is plugged on a FXS port VG224/204

I just wanted to know if there is a command to verify if a phone or fax is attached to an FXS port on a VG224 or VG204.

It is part of my work for site survey and I have to detect remotely if those ports are begin used or no.

Hi Juan,

I am not sure that from the CLI you will be able to confirm what devices are connected to your VG other than showing they are active.  You could do a show voice monitor-channels to see which ports are in use but I doubt you would be able to tell what kind of device it is.  Are you able to access the CUCM in which the VG is related to?  Would the gateway ports descriptions (if there are any) be enough to point you in the right direction?

If the IOS on the router is updated you can issue "sh run | sec stcapp supple" to see the numbers configured on the VG.
