How do I busyout an extension in CUCM System version: 10.5.2.12901-1?  I see the command exists to busy out ports on a voice gateway, but I have not found an easy way to busy out an extension in CUCM.

AFAIK there is no way to busy out a directory number in CM.

Are there any alternative ways to accomplish the same thing?

perhaps put those extns in an isolated partition (which is not added in any CSS).!!!?

If the DN is on a phone, put the phone in Do Not Disturb (soft key or check box on phone config), with DND Option set to "Call Reject"

On the DN, make sure all forwarding is disabled/unconfigured.  If you do all these, inbound calls will return an actual busy signal.
