How do I rebuild a publisher 7.0.2?

Hi,

I am running cucm 7.0.2, i have one subscriber. 1 cisco unity,1 meeting place & 1 unified presence. Do i have to take note of the subscriber and the rest of the equipments?

Build a new server using the same host and IP. Do not connect the new server To he network. Ensure you install and patch to the existing pub version.

Mitigate risk by replacing one of the sas HDD out of the pub and SUB. Keep handy for raid rebuild.

Migrate by backing up the existing DB, shutting the pub down, connecting the new pub to the network open DRS and restore just the PUB server.

Perform DB replication checks across cluster.

And I recommend you upgrade to the latest 7.x version.
