Hi,

We have an IP Telephony setup running on CME version 10.5.

I would like to add in pause in dialed digits for outgoing calls.

For example. user will dial 033512183 ....where 0 is the access code and 33512183 is the mobile number.

If the user press 0 it should go an toll free number called 80014321 and requires a pause or delay and the following mobile number 33512183.

like if user dials 033512183  it should go like 80014321 ...delay... 33512183.

Thanks & Regards

Nithin Louis.

Hi Nithin,

You need to use prefix command with a comma "," to add a pause while dialing.

Hi Rajan,

Thanks for your reply.

The commas will be working as a pause if we had an FXO port to PSTN, but as we have a PRI, it will not be possible because the destination (dialed digits) is sent on the ISDN Setup message. Other digits cannot be sent as a string.I have checked with cisco TAC.

Regards

Nithin.
