Hello,
I used to have caller id blocking on CUCM 9.1 if you press *57 before dialing number, so user can call without showing his phone number.
For some reason it stopped working and if I am dialing *57, I can here busy tone right away.
I have a route pattern for that and gateway but I can't find out how it should be applied to phones.
I am just trying to understand logic how it works.
Please point me to the right article.
Thank you

Make sure the route pattern is in partition accessible from phones' CSS, then make sure the RP points to correct RL/RG/GW and that the *57 gets properly stripped either in CUCM or GW.

Everything seems to be correct. What about dialing rules? ...because when I just press *5 I have a busy tone right away, so the routing is not even happening.

Is the Route pattern starting with *57 in partition that is listed in the CSS of the phone you are dialing from?
Can you run Dialed Number Analyzer to see if the pattern is matched?

Got it. My phone was in different CSS which I've created for InformaCast.
It's working now, but if you dial number fast, call always failing and destination phone doesn't even ring. However, if you dial number slowly, everything works just perfect.
Do you know what could cause that problem?
Thank you

Does the call make it to the voice GW? Can you get a debug from it?
