How to change the DN length from 4 digits to 6 digits?

Hello everyone,

I'm facing the problem that my CUCM is integrated with new branches with the same DN that already have.

We were using translation and prefixes but I think is time to change the DN to 5 or 6 digits length.

Somebody knows how can I complete this task?

I have +1800 DN splited into 11 DP

one by one is not an option.

Thanks to read, any coment will be helpful.

This is a daunting task and this has been asked here few times. Search for dial plan changes and you will find quite a few threads with steps, including SQL queries to execute on CUCM side.

HTH,

Chris

I found this.

but i dont want to add only one digit to all DN, I want to add the prefix in the DN to avoid the traslation numbers.

I was thinking to use the bluk tool, and update the DN by DP/phone type

Thanks for reply
