How to configure a IP Phone without a Router on Packet Tracer?

Is it possible to configure an IP Phone without a router on packet tracer version 8.1.1?

It's my understanding IP Phones have very limited functionality on packet tracer, and routers are the only device that can set up the telephony-service. 

Is there any other way? Thanks in advanced.

yes correct you need to UC Server for phone to register for testing (not sure what is the extend support you have in PT)
