I need to monitor SIP trunk in Cisco CUBE in order to get notified by email in case we can’t reach Sip provider IP ?
in cases like sip trunk between cube and cucm is up and CUBE is up but sip circuit is down
I think the best approach without having to program this yourself, is to configure an options ping in your sip trunk and monitor via SNMP with any SNMP server and then configure it to shoot an email whenever the trunk goes down.
You may find some information here:
To add an option to what Andre correctly suggested, you can configure event manager feature within your Cube so it can send you an email whenever a sip trunk goes down.
You can find a good example in this post
