Hi Mohsin,

Hope you are doing good.

You can pull the phone load information from the BULk Admin Tool

Bulk Administration >>> Phones >>> Generate Phone Reports.

Now you can select the phones (Device Name > Begins with > SEP) and proceed to select the required fields. Your case it could be simple as Device Name and Load Information and run the job.

The output will look like below

Device Name,Load Information

SEP0004F2E15656,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0

SEP0004F2E15DD3,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0

SEP0004F2E15DE0,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0

SEP0004F2E15DE9,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0 Device Name,Load Information
SEP0004F2E15656,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0
SEP0004F2E15DD3,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0
SEP0004F2E15DE0,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0
SEP0004F2E15DE9,apps37sccp.1-4-3-0

I think this is your requirement.

Hello,

From device-device settings- device defaults will show the firmware used for each type of phone model.

Hi Nizar,

Thanks for the response.. However I need to pull a report in which the Phone's MAC and its firmware should be present. I have more than 7k Phones in my cluster. Its very hard to check each and every phone's firmware using its IP.

Mohsin..

Hello Mohsin,

There is another option for you, you can use the BAT to generate phone report.

BAT-->phone-->Generate phone report. Here you will find an option for adding "Phone Load Name" to the report you generate.

Please take a look on the bellow Link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/bat/6_1_1/t03phrpt.html#wp1093272

Also once befor i tried to find a way to generate a report for serial number of phone's, but i couldn't find, only 3rd party application's which i have to pay for that. But i found also some people did that by using phone url, they customized XML application to pull that info from phone's url, like a script but i dont know how to do that.

Hope the above helps you.

Best regards,

Nizar

I tried your instructions but it did not pull the firmware for the Telepresence endpoints

Hi Mohsin,

From CUCM you can also go to Device > Phone and select the phone and click the IP address on the main page which will provide you a new page with the firmware information on the device.
