Hi

How are you all. in my organization i setup cucm PUB and SUB with two voice gateway router. we integrate cucm with tradition PABX system through FXO and FXS port. we want to connect a IPTSP(Like PSTN) for outside call. They provide us 2 IP , username and password for sip connection. according to cisco guide we connect SIP from IPTSP to router (4331) . but dont under stand how to create a router pattern with a destination  because we dont create a gateway or sip from cucm to router.

1. sip ends in router GIG port

2. what should we do to cucm

i am new this sector and learn many things from this community. Plz help

Hi Shakhawat,

First at all, you need to create a SIP Trunk over the CUCM to connect that gateway, then create route patterns over the CUCM for external calls (Local, global, mobile etc,) once you have all route patterns created, need create dial-peer over the gateway and route those dial-peer to take the SIP Trunk as preferred method to send calls over the interface with the SIP Provider
