Pls help me how to upgrade cucm ver 7 to 10

Can you provide the exact CUCM Versions , from which you are upgrading and to which you want to upgrade .

 

Also, can you be a little more specific on what kind of information are you looking for ?

Hi,

 

In addition to what Aditya has asked, u can opt for PCD[Prime Collaboration Deployment] for doing the upgrade.

Need to have valid UCSS/ESW contract for ordering through PUT[Product Upgrade Tool]

VOICE GATEWAY DOES NOT NEED TO BE CHANGED
4- Which signaling protocol is used for communicating with gateways H323 or MGCP? I DON’T KNOW ABOUT THIS
5- Are there any remote sites where IPT is used or is it a single site only? NO, IT IS A SINGLE SITE
6- Are there any third-party applications integrated with Call Manager (e.g. Fax, Billing, Recording)? NO
7- Existing configuration needs to be migrated to the new system or not? YES
8- Which NTP device is used on the network? DOMAIN CONTROLLER SERVER
9- Is there any integration of Call Manager with Active Directory? NO
10- Are there any issues which exist in the current system? If yes, please provide details.  YES IT HAS REACHED END OF SUPPORT LIFE, CISCO WILL NOT SUPPORT IT ANYMORE. IP PHONE G7912 KEEPS DISCONNECTING.

 

You basically have two options

A) PCD

B) Jump upgrade, then upgrade to 10.x

If that 7816 has a 5K, then forget about the above, your options then would be

A) BAT for CUCM

B) Cobras for CUC

And you need to mention EXACTLY what assistance you need.

Have you already reviewed the upgrade guides and RNs of 10.x??? If not, that would be one of the first steps
