Hunt group with mobile numbers - Unity follow-me

Hello everyone,

for our organization we would like to configure a hunt group that handles mobile numbers.

The idea is, when there is an issue on site, they can call an internal extension in the company which forwards to the hunt group.

Then a list with mobile numbers (non RDP) is followed. My main concern is the voicemail...
This will count as an answered call, while it needs to continue to hunt until someone answers.

One of our colleagues is referring to the Unity Follow-Me function where the user needs to press a button (* for example) to confirm the pickup.
But I can't find almost none documentation how to set this up.

Does anyone have a good suggestion to work out the above situation?

Thanks in advance,
And with kind regards,

J.

The only way in which you could make that work, is going to configure SNR and those mobiles as remote destinations.

Apparently some people call the personal call transfer rules like that (follow-me)

Hi Jaime,

thanks for the prompt feedback!

Is there a way we can "capture" the voicemail?

Let's say someone dials the emergency number and the RDP numbers start ringing, what if one device is turned off and jumps to voicemail?

SNR has timers to adjust the answer too soon behavior and how long it will ring, to prevent it from going to the mobile's VM, they have to be adjusted as required.

And what if the phone is turned off and it jumps immediately to VM?

That's why you configure the answer too soon timer.

Apologies, I've misread your last comment on that one.

Thanks a lot Jaime! This will be the solution we'll be using.
