Hunt Pilot to VM Question

Hi all,

Here's what I'm trying to achieve -

Hunt Pilot - 1000

Two users in Line Group - 1001 and 1002 - Top Down so 1001 rings first

Call comes in to 1000 - If 1001 is busy it goes to 1002.  If 1002 is also busy the call gets routed to the voicemail of 1001.

How do I go about doing this?  Do I set the VM on the HP or do I need a Call Handler in Unity?  Or is there another/better way?

Hi Jason,

Directly not possible. But I think we can have some workaorund.

Insted of directly hitting this Hunt pilot. You can have this huntpilot as call forward all in some DN and same DN will have

Call Forward No Coverage as voice mail.  and after that use  Use Personal Preferences of Forward Hunt No Answer in Hunt pilot config.

Use Personal Preferences :-

Use this check box to enable the Call Forward No Coverage (CFNC)  settings for the original called number that forwarded the call to this  hunt pilot.

Hi Jason,

If you would like calls that have routed via the Hunt Pilot @ 1000 and

then through the Line group to end up @ the VM of 1001 set the Forward Busy

to VM @ the Hunt Pilot level and add 1000 as an "Alternate Extension" under

the voicemail account of 1001 (in Unity).
