I need to replicate Avaya's "abbreviated dial group" function on CUCM 8.5

I'm running CUCM 8.5 and have just converted from Avaya definity. We used "abbreviated dial groups" to allow a group of stations to share the same speed dials numbers.

Is there a way to replicate it in CUCM? I can put the SD buttons on each phone but it is time consuming.

Just create a set of translation patterns everyone can reach and tell them what to dial. You might be able to use the same numbering plan, if you want the SD to appear on the actual phone, there's no no way around that other than to do the config and maintain manually on each phone.

I'd go the TP way, easier and faster.
